Hannu Pro's history began in 1993 when economic liberation processes were triggered in the Baltic states and Silikons Studio, a computer graphic and animation studio, producing TV jingles using Silicon Graphic technology for the first time in Latvia, was established. At the same time, a new branch to develop professional solutions and carry out equipment delivery for TV companies and production studios was also established. In 1997 Hannu Pro was commenced operation as an independent company. In the subsequent fifteen years our engineers have completed many challenging projects in Latvia, Lithuania and Estonia and have provided solutions for nearly every Latvian TV or postproduction studio.

A constantly growing number of solutions and products offered by manufacturers makes it increasingly difficult for the end-users to get acquainted with every detail of every product in the market. And, honestly, this is not what producers should be doing. An optimal solution is to delegate resolution of technical issues to skilled professionals, who regularly participate in all of the most important industry forums (IBC, NAB and others) and receive industry news about technology and latest developments directly from manufacturers.
