 A Christmas gift for TV5 audience
Just before Christmas Hannu Pro completed equipment delivery and installation for TV5's non-linear editing system upgrade project. Its resources have now been expanded with a system based on a dual 2.6 GHz Intel Xeon workstation with integrated 1 Gbit Ethernet, equipped with Matrox DigiSuite LE/MAX and 2 TB Infortrend RAID. Additionally a Panasonic DV camcorder, Sony DVCAM and Betacam tape recorders, large screen Viewsonic monitors, and Yamaha and Soundcraft audio equipment was provided to support the editing system. This USD 63 000 investment will significantly accelerate and improve the quality of the program production process.

LTV (Latvian state TV) chooses Hannu Pro
With affordable prices and favourable delivery terms Hannu Pro has won the right to deliver media products for LTV. In December, in complete conformity with the terms of the contract, terms Hannu Pro delivered digital video tapes and DVDs in a deal valued at USD 14 000.

New video equipment for SAC producers
At the end of December independent producers SAC, known for their programs produced for TV5 and LNT, received from Hannu Pro a Sony DVCAM DSR-PD170P camcorder fully equipped with all necessary accessories.

Hannu Pro offers solutions for sales promotion
In December Hannu Pro delivered professional plasma screens to the Adidas sports wear outlet chain. Numerous SONY 42" plasma screens equipped with composite and component video input boards now allow playback of presentation clips from DVD as well as sports programs from satellite or cable networks to ensure attractive sales promotions.

 LNT takes the lead again
November is going to be a hot time for many companies as well as the Hannu Pro team, which is about to finish several significant projects for LNT (Latvian Independent television).
The first USD 66 000 project involves setting up a new extremely powerful HP video server and expansion of on-air audio processing capabilities with SOUNDCRAFT equipment, as well as the introduction of mobile SQN audio solutions and enhancement of on-air camera lenses.
Hannu Pro engineers are working on a major renewal of other LNT technical resources as well, with total investment exceeding USD 190 000. This involves modernization of studio lighting with state-of-art Balcar lights, introduction of a Sennheiser wireless recording system and supply of two Matrox DigiSuite LE/MAX based non-linear editing facilities, whose most significant aspects include dual 2.6 GHz Intel Xeon workstations with integrated 1 Gbit Ethernet, a 5 TB Infortrend RAID system, Kramer switchers, Sony DVCAM and Betacam tape recorders. Additionally, the improvement of the optics of other on-air cameras and enhancement of on-air audio signal processing is projected.

TV5 gains the night vision
At the beginning of the October Hannu Pro completed delivery of equipment worth USD 22 000 to popular Latvian channel TV5 which now, thanks to the introduction of satellite broadcast systems, covers all of the country. TV5 has also upgraded its computer systems and expanded its technical resources with remote controlled night vision cameras. Recently purchased equipment will provide additional advantages to the company in the production of numerous reality shows.

Platforma is to dive into serious video editing
The independent film studio, Platforma, which owns the Latvia's only Sony HDCAM CineAlta digital camcorder, has strengthened its video editing facility. On November 17, Hannu Pro delivered a powerful 4 TB Infortrend SATA RAID system to support critical video editing.
